ROXETTE ATTACK 2009What is ROXETTE ATTACK 2009 SUDAMERICA?A project created by Roxette South America Fans ("Sudamérica" in spanish).
The goals:
1. Bring Roxette back in the media;
2. Make contacts between business companies and Live Nation to bring Roxette to do concerts in South America.
The beggining:Roxette Brazil community created a petition to bring Per and his band to Brazil during the Party Crasher Tour. (

The result:Many signatures... a contact from TDR (The Daily Roxette – Official Roxette News Website) and some official words from Per Gessle and his band loving the idea to come to Brazil again to perform.
The project:
After all that “noise” the things slow down here in Brazil and Bianca & Alexandre contacted me to shake it a little bit and to move on with the project to bring Per and his Party Crasher European Tour to Brazil, South America!
As I had to travel to Uruguay I took this “opportunity nox” to meet Rosina (another “old” roxette fan just like me, that since Per Gessle En Händig Man Tour, in 2007, have been travelling to Europe to meet him and to attend the concerts.) We contacted Ezequiel from Argentina that “embraced” this cause too. (We’re still looking for someone to represent Chile on this project. A business contact already exists there.)
So
Roxette Attack 2009 is a mobilization from South America, mainly in the involved coutries:
Brasil, Uruguai, Argentina & Chile.To move on, Roxette management company D&D was contacted. They informed that Roxette concerts contacts was not a responsile by EMA TESLAR anymore but the contacts should be made from now on with LIVE NATION.
Live Nation needs to be contacted by business companies that could be interested to bring Roxette to do concerts.
Roxette needs all fans mobilize themselves to promote them on the radios, on TV, on the internet...
So what I’m trying to do, motiveted by “Per in Brazil petition’s”, is to concentrate all those fans energies to promote Roxette and to bring them to perform in South America and why not around the globe!? A kind of
Night of the Proms all over the world!
Night of the Proms is a festival where Roxette will perform in the end of the year. Originaly Roxette should perform on it in 2002, but Marie Fredriksson got sick. So after 7 years, they are back! It’s an event that include other artists and Roxette is the special guest. The artists are followed by an Orchestra and play ony 5 or 6 songs each. Roxette will re-start in the spotlight with this tour.
So far, Roxette is only performing at festivals, like:
NEW WAVE FESTIVAL: JULY 28th in JURMALA, LATVIA.
NIGHT OF THE PROMS: OCTOBER, NOVEMBER & DECEMBER in BELGIUM / HOLLAND & GERMANY.
In spite of Roxette doesn’t have a new album to promote and to star their own Tour, (the last album released was a greatest hits called “Roxette Hits” to celebrate 20 years, in 2006) there are rumors of a new single till the end of the year. However some fonts reveled Roxette will come back to studio in the begginig of 2010, after Night of the Proms Tour. Per posted in his twitter on July 22 that Roxette already recorded 2 demos to the next up-coming album.
Meanwhile, Roxette Attack Group prepare a package of promo stuffs to send to the media.
PROJECT: “ROXETTE ATTACK 2009”:This project is being executated at the same time on these countries: Chile (mister-x), Uruguay (Rosina), Argentina (Ezequiel) e Brazil (me). So everybody is welcome to help us and Roxette Brasil, the creator of this project to bring Gessle and now Fredriksson to perform in South America again and all over the world.

06) Make contact with the selected companies, visit arenas & theatres, make an appointment and hand PROMO PACKAGE.

07) = Work as an intermediary between D&D / Live Nation e Business companies interested in contract Roxette.
